1950 Marx, Mechanical Tractor in Original Box
This clockwork tin litho and plastic Mechanical Tractor by Marx was one of the smallest self-powered farm vehicles produced by the company. Six inches long and that includes the faux die cast crank and the driver. Brilliant red lithography throughout with very nice engine detail on both sides. Rubber treads are original and in phenomenal condition. The red bogey wheels are plastic. The tin litho driver is removable. The stop/start switch is located just to the right of the driver's right foot. Best of all it works beautifully. The box was printed with text only. It's complete with all eight original endflaps.
